Competition News
What fun we all had at the Area Horse Trials - Owing to lame horses and unforseen circumstances Sophie competed as an individual in the intermediate section and was 4th - well done to her, a great achievement. Extra special however, was our Novice team - Emma and Harry, Susannah and Peter Pan, Clara and Drummer and Emily and Fat Sam - they came 3rd out of 25 teams and have therefore qualified for the area championships on 29th August. Congratulations to Anais King in the Area Show Jumping who came 6th and qualified for the championships. Well done also to Erin Kirkwood, Oliver Lund and Millie Nunney all of whom competed and made up the team. The team came 2nd in the Tack and Turnout competition which was a great achievement.
In the Area Dressage our Novice team came 6th - congratulations to Susannah Boddie, Georgia Chapman, Anais King and Libby McKean and special congratulations to Susannah and Anais who finished 1st and 2nd in their arenas and both get to go the championships. Lucinda Corrie, Rosie Leigh, Emma Pritchard and India Wishart made up an intermediate team and Harriet Kitchen had a go at the Open as an individual. Well done to all
In the Prix Caprilli Catherine Abbott, Ocean Allen, Natasha Blackman and Joe Letts all had a go, so well done to all of them
Other Events
The Woodland Hunt ODE took place at the end of June as everyone knows! It proved a great day out in lovely sunshine and there are a complete set of pictures on our photogallery page of all the Woodlanders who took part. Congratulations to all but particularly to Oliver Lund, Rory Bird, Emily Estcourt, Clara Davis, Anais King, Georgie Bird, Libby McKean, Georgie Wickham-Smith, Izzy Barne, Isobel Johnson, Grace Jones and Jessica Dent - all in the rosettes so well done to them.
