Welcome to the Woodland Hunt Pony Club! We are delighted that you have joined our branch. We are a really friendly bunch but a whole load of new faces can be a bit scary to start with, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to really feel one of the gang and have fun. Below are pictures of our District Commissioner, Helen Gough and our Chief Instructor, Posie Knapp who you will get to know very quickly.

One of questions we get asked all the time is 'what should I wear to what events?' The linked page here will tell you all about what the dress code is for rallies, for camp, and for dressage events, showjumping, cross-country and hunting. If you are new to owning a pony you might find going off to your first few events quite challenging in terms of 'what to take'. Again we have a crib list with a few ideas on it for you to refer to in the early days.
Fun & friendship are high on the agenda at Woodland. Everyone connected with the branch, young & old, has happy memories & made lifelong friends and we know that you will too. If you have any questions at all, however silly you might think them, then do ask - you'll find that nearly everyone has wondered the same thing at some point in their pony life!
